Finally Clarity On The Future Of 'Daredevil: Born Again'
This superhero series is set to have a bright future on Disney+, promising fans exciting new adventures ahead.
Marvel Studios has officially given the green light for a third season of Daredevil: Born Again. Filming is scheduled for next year, allowing the popular superhero series to continue.
Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming at Marvel Studios, confirmed the news in an interview with IGN. "As for Daredevil: yes, we have greenlighted season 3 and will start filming next year," said Winderbaum.
Although Daredevil: Born Again was one of the most anticipated Marvel series in recent times, its reception was mixed to positive. Both critics and viewers appreciated the series, but it failed to secure a spot in the Nielsen streaming Top 10.
The disappointing viewing figures created confusion about the future of the show. Comments from lead actor Charlie Cox suggested that the story might end after two seasons, in line with Marvel's original plan.
Despite earlier speculation, it is now clear that a third season is on the way. Marvel seems confident in the series' future, despite the mixed reception of the first season.
For the second season, slated to air in early 2026, several familiar faces are expected to return. In addition to Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Wilson Bethel, Deborah Ann Woll, and Krysten Ritter will reprise their roles.
The episodes of the first season are now available on Disney+.
