Stop What You're Doing, Turn On Netflix, And Start Watching The Film Of The Year Now!

Guillermo del Toro's highly anticipated 'Frankenstein' featuring Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi will be streaming on Netflix starting November 7, 2025.

Good news: Frankenstein is finally available on Netflix. The film was recently screened in a limited number of theaters in October and received praise from both audiences and critics.

Directed by Guillermo del Toro, known for Pan’s Labyrinth and The Shape of Water, the film features an impressive cast including Oscar Isaac (Dune), Jacob Elordi (Saltburn), Mia Goth (Pearl), and Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds).

Strong Reception

On Rotten Tomatoes, the Tomatometer sits at 85 percent. The consensus nicely summarizes the film: "Finding the humanity in one of cinema's most iconic monsters, Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein is a lavish epic that gets its most invigorating volts from Jacob Elordi's standout performance."

As this is a Netflix release with a limited theatrical run, exact box office revenues are not fully known. Wikipedia notes that only $313,641 has been earned, while the production budget was $120 million, which is on the higher side.
