Big Surprise For 'Avengers: Doomsday' Incoming!
Disney is clearly eager to draw audiences back to theaters with their unique marketing strategy.
The first teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday (with a runtime of 1 minute and 25 seconds) is expected to premiere soon alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash.
But studio Disney has something special planned. According to The Hollywood Reporter's newsletter, we will see not one, not two, not three, but four different previews for the Marvel blockbuster.
The first teaser trailer will run for a week, followed by the next, and so on. So if you want to see all four of them, you'll have to visit the third Avatar (which lasts 3 hours) multiple times.
This is reminiscent of 1998 when huge crowds bought tickets for Meet Joe Black just to see the first trailer for Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.
There is still immense pressure on Doomsday and Secret Wars to provide fans with an experience that is at least as good (if not better) than both predecessor films, Infinity War and Endgame.
