Will This Brilliant Netflix Series Return With A New Movie Trilogy?
One of the major stars of 'Mindhunter' reveals that they might be working on future installments, sparking excitement among fans.
Six years after the second season of Mindhunter, fans of the chilling crime series may finally see a ray of hope. Actor Holt McCallany, who portrayed FBI agent Bill Tench in the show, has now revealed that a comeback could be on the horizon!
In an interview with CBR, McCallany shared that he has recently been in talks with creator and director David Fincher about a potential sequel. He begins by saying: "We discussed it a few months ago".
According to McCallany, it might look different if it does happen: "There’s a chance the series would return in the form of a trilogy. Each film would last about two hours".
"I must add that it’s not certain yet. It’s a possibility, but no guarantee. I know the writers are currently working on a story, but David needs to be satisfied with it first. Only once he approves the script can we move forward".
Fans were extremely disappointed when the series was abruptly canceled, and Fincher has also been reserved. The director, known for other masterpieces like Se7en and Fight Club, is proud of Mindhunter, but found it to be an exhausting process.
