The Third Season Of One Of The Best Series Of Our Time Gets Even More Exciting Thanks To This Legendary Addition

Hans Zimmer's involvement will elevate the soundtrack to a new level of brilliance.

For a long time, there was silence around the continuation of Euphoria, but now there is not only clarity about the third season, but also remarkable news about the music. None other than Hans Zimmer has joined the team, and that forever changes the tone of the new season.

Although HBO had long confirmed the existence of season 3, it was hard for fans to believe as the filming was delayed. Some cast members reportedly did not even know when production would start, which only fueled the uncertainty. Scripts have now been completed and filming is in full swing. An unexpected announcement was included in the press release regarding the progress: Hans Zimmer will collaborate with Labrinth on the soundtrack. Hans Zimmer is a world-renowned German composer, best known for his work in film and television music.

Collaboration Between Heavyweights

Labrinth was already responsible for the signature music in the first two seasons of Euphoria. With Zimmer's addition, the project gains a new dimension. The German composer stated that he was "honored to be part of this incredibly talented team of storytellers." For creator Sam Levinson, it is a logical step: he wrote the scripts for the new season while listening to previous Zimmer tunes, including those from Interstellar.

Season 3 will again consist of eight episodes. The storyline jumps ahead in time, providing space for new developments around main characters such as Rue and Jules. Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, and Colman Domingo will all return. The exception is Barbie Ferreira, who previously announced she would not be returning.

Where To Watch

The series can be viewed on HBO Max.
