This film promises an exciting new adventure featuring Spider-Punk, a fan-favorite character from the Spider-Verse.
Sony Pictures Animation is set to produce a film featuring Spider-Punk, a beloved character who first appeared in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. This news comes from Deadline.
The animated feature will be penned by Ajon Singh (Primetime) and Daniel Kaluuya, who voiced Spider-Punk in the previous film.
Spider-Punk is also known as Hobie Brown. He is a British Spider-Man from the multiverse, renowned for his rebellious attitude against authority.
In Across the Spider-Verse, he is a friend of Gwen Stacy, getting involved in her adventures with Miles Morales and deciding to team up against the Spider Society.
Details about the film's storyline are still under wraps. Meanwhile, we are still waiting for the third installment in the Spider-Verse trilogy, Beyond the Spider-Verse, which has been delayed multiple times. If all goes well, we should expect the film in June 2027.
