Netflix Unveils Series 'True Haunting' By 'Saw' Director
'True Haunting': New horror series from James Wan arrives on Netflix on October 7.
James Wan is responsible for several horror franchises such as Saw, Insidious, and The Conjuring. This fall, the filmmaker returns with the new series True Haunting, available starting October 7 on the streaming service Netflix.
The series is described as a documentary series centered around chilling stories of haunted houses. The first footage has now been shared via a teaser.
The production is led by James Wan, Simon Allen, and Mark Lewis, and will be divided into two separate cases: Eerie Hall (3 episodes) and This House Murdered Me (2 episodes). Interviews with those involved will be interspersed with reenactments of the paranormal events.
Eerie Hall is directed by Neil Rawles, while Luke Watson takes on the direction of This House Murdered Me. Both stories are based on true paranormal experiences, adding to the realistic atmosphere of the series.
James Wan previously collaborated with Netflix on the series Archive 81, which premiered online in 2022. Starting October 7, True Haunting will be available on Netflix.
