Major Villain 'One Piece' Season 2 Revealed By Netflix

Fans of the live-action adaptation of One Piece can look forward to a thrilling second season coming on March 10, 2026.

Fans of the live-action adaptation of One Piece can brace themselves for a second season filled with action, adventure, and new faces. The journey through the Grand Line continues, bringing Luffy and his crew face-to-face with a host of iconic villains, both familiar and new.

While Crocodile is likely to be the most notorious antagonist of this season due to his role as the mastermind behind Baroque Works, he is not the only one causing trouble. There is another villain who plays a key role and may very well deserve the title of ‘big bad.’

Welcome To Drum Island

The second season introduces Drum Island, where Luffy and his friends not only meet their future nakama Tony Tony Chopper but also a formidable opponent: Wapol. This eccentric king will give the Straw Hats a hard time.

Netflix recently revealed what Wapol looks like in the live-action series, and the resemblance to his manga and anime version is stunning. His distinctive appearance has been meticulously recreated, once again demonstrating how loyal this adaptation remains to the source material.

Rob Colletti As Wapol

Wapol is portrayed by actor Rob Colletti. Although he has no experience with anime adaptations, he is known for his role in The Many Saints of Newark, the prequel to The Sopranos. Under the supervision of Eiichiro Oda as Executive Producer, the series stays true to the original vision.

Wapol’s comical appearance hides his dangerous power. Thanks to the Devil Fruit Baku Baku no Mi, he can eat anything and take on the properties of whatever he consumes. This makes him an unpredictable and deadly opponent, capable of creating weapons in a flash.

What Can Fans Expect?

Although Wapol was not featured in the initial trailers, his appearance promises spectacular scenes. How his bizarre powers are depicted in live-action remains a surprise for now – but expectations are running high.

Netflix releases season two of One Piece on March 10, 2026. Until then, new footage will regularly be shared featuring other iconic villains like Mr. 3 and Crocodile, portrayed by David Dastmalchian and Joe Manganiello.
