The first teaser for 'Avengers: Doomsday' showcases the return of Steve Rogers alongside interesting details.
After a week full of speculation about the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, the initial teaser has now been officially released. Marvel Studios has unveiled the first teaser, which was also shown during the theatrical release of Avatar: Fire and Ash. And there's a huge revelation!
The teaser was leaked online last week. Disney made no announcement regarding this approach, but it seems to deliberately choose to generate online buzz through leaks and social media. The teaser below is expected to be the first of four or five teasers.
In the first shots, we see Chris Evans as Steve Rogers returning to his home with Peggy Carter. Notably, he is wearing a wedding ring. He then puts away his Captain America suit and holds a baby, indicating that he is retired as an Avenger and choosing a life as a husband and father.
Although Hayley Atwell does not appear in the trailer, her presence in Avengers: Doomsday is expected. It is evident that Steve Rogers will need to don his suit again now that Doctor Doom has appeared on the scene.
The directing duo Joe and Anthony Russo, who were previously responsible for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, shared the teaser on Instagram and wrote: "The character that changed our lives. The story that brought us together. It was always inevitable that we would do this."
The second teaser, focused on Thor (Chris Hemsworth), has also leaked online. It is expected to officially debut next week after being shown in theaters.
