LEGO Unveils The Pricey New 'Star Wars' Set In The Ultimate Collector Series

This newly released set features the iconic AT-ST walker from Star Wars, appealing to collectors and fans alike.

LEGO has unveiled a new set within the popular Ultimate Collector Series, aimed at fans of Star Wars and its well-known ships and vehicles. The set, LEGO Star Wars 75417 AT-ST, will soon be available.

The set consists of 1513 pieces, bringing the price per piece to about 13.2 cents. With a height of 37 centimeters and a width and length of 22 centimeters, this model is clearly designed for display in a showcase.

Iconic Vehicle

The AT-ST, also known as the 'chicken walker,' first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back and played a prominent role in the battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi. With this Ultimate Collector Series edition, LEGO brings a detailed interpretation of the bipedal combat vehicle from a "galaxy, far, far away."

The model features a rotating cockpit, an opening hatch that grants access to an interior with two visible seats, realistic viewing slits, and adjustable laser cannons. An included information plaque and a minifigure of an AT-ST pilot, complete with printed arms and a blaster, round out the set.

Collector's Item For Ages 18+

LEGO is clearly targeting an older demographic with this release. The recommended age is 18+, making the design intended as a collector's item. The set will be exclusively available from August 1st via the official LEGO Shop, with a price tag of nearly 200 dollars.
