With The Announcement Of The Second Season Of This Sci-fi Hit Based On A Video Game, Prime Video Aims For Total Victory In The Streaming War.

The second season of Fallout takes place in New Vegas and premieres in December, promising a thrilling continuation of the story.

The second season of Fallout is approaching, and Amazon Prime Video is giving fans an exciting preview. The streaming service has released the first poster, clearly showing where the new episodes will take place. Fans can stop speculating: the journey is heading to New Vegas.

After the successful first season, praised by both audiences and critics, the return of Fallout is one of the most notable releases this fall. New episodes will premiere in December on Amazon Prime Video.

From Southern California To New Vegas

While the first season was set in radiation-ravaged Southern California, season 2 opts for a new location. The story moves eastward to New Vegas. This city, once known as Las Vegas, received a new name and a unique role in the Fallout universe after a nuclear disaster. The setting directly connects to the game Fallout: New Vegas from 2010.

The video game served as inspiration for the new storyline. In the game, a courier must deliver the so-called 'platinum chip.' Whether this element will be incorporated into the show remains unclear.

Returning Characters And New Faces

The poster features familiar faces, including Lucy (Ella Purnell), the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and the loyal dog Dogmeat. Additionally, Mr. House makes an appearance, the ruler of New Vegas who retains his power through a supercomputer. This role is portrayed by Ren Auberjonois.
