Completely Insane Second Spin-off Of 'The Boys' Announced: Including The First Images
The new spin-off of The Boys is set in the 1950s, exploring Vought's dark beginnings and its impact on society.
Filming for the latest spin-off of The Boys has begun. Prime Video has immediately released the first promotional images of the series Vought Rising.
In the initial photos, we see new characters like Bombsight (Mason Dye), Torpedo (Will Hochman), and Private Angel (Elizabeth Posey). Jensen Ackles returns as Soldier Boy, this time with an updated costume.
We already know that Vought Rising will be a prequel to the popular series The Boys, focusing on the rise of Vought International. The events take place in the 1950s, but substantive details about the storyline remain secret for now.
Besides Ackles, Aya Cash will reprise her role as Stormfront. The cast is also bolstered by Jorden Myrie, Nicolò Pasetti, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith.
The new series is described as a "twisted murder mystery." What this specifically entails is still unclear, but it seems that Vought Rising differentiates itself from previous titles by adopting a darker and potentially thriller-like approach.
The series is expected to premiere on Prime Video either late 2026 or in 2027. This year, we will see the second season of the spin-off Gen V, and next year the fifth and final season of the original series The Boys will debut.
