This Major Streaming Service Seems To Be Getting (even) Much More Expensive Quickly: Now Deemed "too Cheap"

Warner Bros. Discovery is contemplating a price increase for HBO Max due to high-quality content and competition with Netflix.

In a time when viewers are getting tired of the high prices of streaming services, there is one major streaming service that finds itself too inexpensive.

Last week, one of the executives from Warner Bros. Discovery mentioned at a technology conference that they may further raise the prices of their streaming channel HBO Max, given that their offerings are of great quality and way too cheap.

Further Increasing Prices

CEO David Zaslav stated: "The fact that this is quality, and that applies to our entire business from films, television to streaming, we see it as an opportunity to further increase prices. We believe we are far below the market level. But we are taking it easy."

By this, he meant that their major competitor Netflix charges higher amounts for their subscriptions. He also mentioned that HBO Max will be stricter with subscribers and how they are using the streaming service according to their rules.

Quickly Becoming Much More Expensive

This major streaming service thus appears to be quickly becoming much more expensive. This may mean that you should hastily watch films like The Penguin and Sinners, so you can switch to cheaper streaming options with a peace of mind. Forewarned is forearmed...
