"We are actively discussing the future of the series, and I certainly do not want too much time to pass. Actor Timothy Olyphant, who plays the synthetic Kirsh, confirmed that talks about a sequel are ongoing. cWe are in the middle of those discussions, and Noah Hawley is always thinking ahead. The first eight episodes introduced various new elements, including Wendy’s remarkable influence on a Xenomorph and the mysterious origin of the Ocellus. Many believe this provides a solid foundation for a second season where these elements can be further explored.
