Netflix Triggers Subscriber Outrage: "I'm Going To Cancel My Subscription"
In America, '28 Years Later' is already available, but only for certain users of the streaming service.
Netflix adds a variety of films and series every month, but the arrival of 28 Years Later in the United States has turned out to be quite different than expected. Millions of subscribers encountered an unwelcome surprise.

The sequel to Danny Boyle's classic 28 Days Later received rave reviews this year and holds an 88 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The title isn't widely available to stream yet, and even on Netflix, it's not straightforward.
Although the streaming service announced the arrival of 28 Years Later with much fanfare, viewers with the cheaper subscription are unable to watch the film. For them, only a lock icon appears next to the title.
Fans made their displeasure known on social media. One subscriber wrote: "They must be joking, right? This was the reason I canceled my membership. How many more people will leave Netflix because of this?" The internet is now flooded with such responses.
The policy strikes a sensitive chord. Streaming started as a cheaper, ad-free alternative to satellite and cable, but angry users now feel as though the circle has come full circle: "Streaming platforms are turning into the new satellite. Before you know it, people will just go back..." said another user.
