Finally! The First Footage Of Netflix's Most Epic Fantasy Series Is NOW Online!

Netflix reveals the first live-action footage of Toph in the trailer for season 2 of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender', showcasing the return of beloved characters.

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2, featuring the first live-action footage of Toph. The series from showrunner Albert Kim will return to the streaming service in 2026.

The live-action adaptation is based on the Nickelodeon animated series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. The main cast includes Gordon Cormier (Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara), Ian Ousley (Sokka), Dallas Liu (Prince Zuko), and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Uncle Iroh).

Toph And Ba Sing Se

Toph, portrayed by Miya Cech, is a blind earthbender who perceives her surroundings through seismic vibrations. Regarding the direction of season 2, executive producers Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani previously stated:

"There is no war in Ba Sing Se. Fans can expect more clever plans from Sokka, even more masterful 'bending' from Katara, and Appa and Momo remaining as fluffy as ever, while Aang learns a new form of bending (or two). We will showcase realistic versions of iconic scenes from the original and explore stories not covered by the animation."
