LEGO and Hasbro have unveiled the latest Transformers set that will surely appeal to long-time fans. Starting early next month, LEGO Icons 10358 Transformers: Soundwave will be available!

The set consists of 1502 bricks and is comparable to earlier releases such as Optimus Prime (10302) and Bumblebee (10338). Soundwave is the first Decepticon in the LEGO Icons line, a striking choice given his alternate form as a cassette player.

Without Disassembly

While many Transformers take on less LEGO-friendly forms, Soundwave's cassette shape from the original G1 series provides a more accessible design. LEGO consciously chose not to include Megatron, whose transformations are typically weapon-related. The model stands 33 cm tall and features movable joints, a rocket launcher, laser blaster, and projectiles.

The striking dark blue-gray color scheme and the transparent chest panel give the figure its recognizable appearance. Additionally, the set comes with an information plaque and a soundbrick that produces voice and sound effects when the play button is pressed.

Cassettes: Ravage And Laserbeak

Both Ravage and Laserbeak make their way into the set. Both can be transformed into cassette tapes that fit into Soundwave's chest. Unique to this model is that the transformation to a cassette player is fully possible without detaching parts.

LEGO Icons 10358 Transformers: Soundwave is designed for builders aged 18 and above and will cost nearly $180 at the LEGO Shop. The set will be available from August 4, with an exclusive pre-sale on August 1 for LEGO Insiders.

Story

Cleo (Yalitza Aparicio) is one of the two maids who help Antonio (Fernando Grediaga) and Sofía (Marina de Tavira) care for their four children in 1970s Mexico City. Complications arise when Antonio suddenly leaves with his mistress, and Cleo discovers she is pregnant.

When Sofía decides to take the children on vacation, she invites Cleo for a much-needed escape to relax and bond with the family.

Best Netflix Film Ever?

You may know Alfonso Cuarón from films like Gravity, Children of Men, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Roma is his most personal project, as it offers a semi-autobiographical glimpse into Cuarón's upbringing in the Colonia Roma neighborhood of Mexico City.



The end result is Cuarón's masterpiece. The brilliant film received high praise from critics. Roma premiered at the 75th Venice International Film Festival on August 30, 2018, where it won the Golden Lion.

Road To Roma

Roma is unique for many reasons, but the situation of lead actress Yalitza Aparicio is particularly extraordinary. She had no acting experience or formal training but received an Oscar nomination for her work in Roma.



The film received a total of ten Oscar nominations, three of which were won: Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Foreign Language Film. In 2020, the documentary Road to Roma was released, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look.

With a battle cry that leaves no doubt about his ambitions, William, Duke of Normandy, claims the English throne in the first trailer for King & Conqueror. As he locks eyes with his rival Harold, Earl of Wessex, the centuries-old conflict erupts, still captivating the imagination. The first images leave little to the imagination: this series is raw, bloody, and grand in scale.

In King & Conqueror, we see Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and James Norton rallying their armies for the Battle of Hastings, one of the most iconic confrontations in British history. Standing by their side are their wives, played by Emily Beecham (Edith Swan-neck) and Clémence Poésy (Matilda), each playing their part in this power struggle. The trailer hints at fierce battles, political intrigue, and a conflict that reaches beyond the battlefield.

Battle That Shaped Europe

The series highlights not only the bloodshed of 1066 but also exposes how the rivalry between two royal families determined the fate of a continent. The historical roots stretch back decades, crossing the Channel between England and Normandy. The series depicts how dynasties tried to dominate each other amidst chaos, honor, and betrayal.

With an impressive cast including Jean-Marc Barr as King Henry, Elliott Cowan as Sweyn, and Bjarne Henriksen as Earl Siward, the production gains significant weight. Other roles are filled by Oliver Masucci, Indy Lewis, Jason Forbes, Ingvar Sigurdsson, Ines Asserson, Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson, and Léo Legrand.

BBC And Paramount Join Forces

King & Conqueror consists of eight episodes and is an international co-production involving Rabbit Track Pictures, RVK Studios, and CBS Studios. Michael Robert Johnson created the series and serves as showrunner. Baltasar Kormákur directed the opening episode and guided the creative process. The series premieres next month on BBC and will be distributed worldwide via Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The iconic hero from the 80s is soon returning to the big screen in a new live-action film of Masters of the Universe. The official logo has now been revealed, indicating a trailer is on the horizon.

The production of the new He-Man has been completed, and the film takes place partly on the alien planet Eternia and partly on Earth. Lead actor Nicholas Galitzine (The Idea of You) was spotted on set in strikingly ordinary clothing.

Masters Of The Universe

Directing the film is Travis Knight, known for Bumblebee, and the cast alongside Galitzine includes Jared Leto (Morbius) as the evil Skeletor. Alison Brie (Promising Young Woman) portrays Evil-Lyn, while Camila Mendes (Riverdale) is seen as Teela.

Idris Elba (Thor: Ragnarok) also has a role as Man-at-Arms, Teela's father. Additionally, Sam C. Wilson (House of the Dragon), Kojo Attah (The Beekeeper), Hafthor Bjornsson (Game of Thrones), Morena Baccarin (Deadpool & Wolverine), Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson (Vikings) and Jon Xue Zhang (Eternals) are cast in supporting roles.

Title Logo In Multiple Languages

The expectation is that Masters of the Universe will heavily rely on visual effects, especially in the scenes featuring Skeletor. Below is the impressive film logo. Amazon MGM Studios will release the film on June 5, 2026, in theaters and will later make it exclusive on Prime Video.

Disney+ unveiled the first trailer for the second season of the fantasy series Percy Jackson and the Olympians at the San Diego Comic-Con. It was also announced that the new episodes will be available starting December 10 on the streaming platform.

The second series is based on the book 'Sea of Monsters' by author Rick Riordan. In this, Percy and his friends embark on an adventurous sea journey to retrieve the Golden Fleece.

Half-brother Tyson

Actor Daniel Diemer joins the cast as Percy’s Cyclops half-brother Tyson. Among others, Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Virginia Kull, and Adam Copeland return, with Dan Shotz and Jonathan E. Steinberg again serving as showrunners.

The first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which premiered in late 2023, was well-received by both critics and fans of the book series. The series was praised for its faithful storyline, the performances of the young lead actors, and its visual approach, resulting in high viewership on Disney+.

Third Season Already Announced

During the panel at Comic-Con, it was also confirmed that a third season is in the works. That season will revolve around the book 'The Titan's Curse,' in which Percy undertakes a dangerous mission to save his friend Annabeth and the goddess Artemis.



In anticipation of the third season, two young roles have also been cast: Levi Chrisopulos as Nico and Olive Abercrombie as Bianca. Both characters play significant roles in the later storylines of the popular book series. But first, season 2, for which the teaser trailer has been shared above.
