Nerve-Wracking Miniseries Debuts In November On Prime Video; Featuring Big Star From 'The X-Files' And Carice Van Houten

David Duchovny stars in the new thriller series 'Malice' where nothing is as it seems, leading to intense drama and intrigue.

David Duchovny swaps the extraterrestrial mysteries of The X-Files for human manipulation. In the new thriller series Malice, the actor delves into a story where nothing is as it seems and trust slowly deteriorates. Prime Video revealed that all six episodes of the miniseries will premiere on November 14. Alongside Duchovny, Jack Whitehall, known from Jungle Cruise, plays a leading role.

Whitehall portrays Adam, a charming private tutor who wins the trust of the wealthy Tanner family during a vacation in Greece. When the nanny suddenly becomes seriously ill, Adam seizes his chance to invade their lives even deeper. Back in London, he begins to reveal his true motives, leading to a dangerous power play.

Secrets And Obsession

According to the official description, Adam quickly knows how to turn the couple Jamie (Duchovny) and Nat (played by Carice van Houten) against each other. Behind the scenes, he is crafting a plan to disrupt the entire family. Anyone trying to uncover who he really is gets caught in his web of lies.

When Jamie realizes that the recent disasters in his family may not be coincidental, it seems too late to fix the damage. As Adam's obsession with the family reaches dangerous proportions, the line between victim and perpetrator becomes increasingly blurred.

Strong Cast And Release Date Announced

In addition to Duchovny, Whitehall, and Van Houten, Christine Adams (Hijack) and Raza Jaffrey (Homeland) also star. Malice will be exclusively available on Prime Video from Friday, November 14.

Grand And Gripping: Prime Video Blows You Away With The Next Step For The Fiery Action Series 'Cross'

Prime Video is set to launch season 2 of the thrilling crime series 'Cross' on February 11, 2026, featuring intense plot twists and character development.

Next year, Prime Video will release the second season of the popular crime series Cross. The series follows the brilliant yet emotionally troubled detective Alex Cross. As he hunts down serial killers in Washington DC, he also grapples with personal threats that jeopardize his life and career.

Cross is based on the globally renowned book series by James Patterson. Aldis Hodge stars as Alex Cross, a forensic psychologist and detective who tackles the most sadistic crimes while trying to protect his family. The cast also includes Isaiah Mustafa as Detective John Sampson and Juanita Jennings as Nana Mama.

Engaging Binge-Watch

Season 1 centers on the pursuit of a sadistic serial killer by Cross and Sampson. Simultaneously, a danger from Cross's past resurfaces, threatening both his career and his family's well-being. With eight episodes, the first season was described as a "fast-paced and engaging binge-watch" by the TV Fanatic reviewer.

In season 2, the action continues with a new challenge. Alex Cross must face a ruthless avenger who has targeted corrupt billionaires.

Not Suitable For Children

The series is exclusively available for streaming on Prime Video and holds a TV-MA rating - not suitable for children under 17 - due to its graphic violence, strong language, and use of drugs and alcohol. Season 2 premieres on February 11, 2026.
