Creators Of 'Adolescence' Filmed Another Movie In One Shot, Now On Prime Video

Prime Video's "Boiling Point" delivers an intense drama that captivates viewers with its masterful one-shot storytelling.

Prime Video has a film in its lineup that immediately grabs the attention of fans of intense drama. This is the film Boiling Point from the creators of the Netflix hit Adolescence. Those who were previously captivated by the experimental approach of Adolescence can expect another production that maintains the suspense in one long take.

The name Adolescence gained widespread attention in 2025 after the miniseries unexpectedly garnered high viewing figures on Netflix, placing it among the most popular series ever. The series stood out because of its themes revolving around young adults and the fact that each episode was filmed without cuts. That same cinematic principle also forms the foundation of Boiling Point, which is now available on Prime Video in many areas worldwide.

A Restaurant Under Pressure

The story follows Andy, portrayed by a chef who, along with his team, must keep a London restaurant running under constant pressure. Investments, critical guests, and an unexpected inspection lead to a cascade of obstacles. One misstep could spell the end of his business. The film depicts the pressure in the hospitality industry in a way that has rarely been captured so realistically.

In addition to business challenges, Andy also faces personal tensions. His private life proves to be as hectic as the kitchen he works in. As the stress mounts and events unfold at a rapid pace, the urgency grows as to whether he can hold on or if everything will come crashing down.

Audience And Reception

The film was well received internationally and has become a widely discussed title. According to review site Rotten Tomatoes, 99 percent of the ratings are positive. On IMDb, the film has an impressive score of 7.5.

New Feature On Netflix Seems To Be A Hit: Clip Now In All Films And Series

Netflix has introduced a fantastic new feature that allows you to create clips of your favorite scenes, including those from 'Wednesday' and 'KPop Demon Hunters'.

Netflix is expanding its mobile Moments feature just as Wednesday season 2 part 2 is released. The feature gets an update that offers users even more control over their favorite scenes.

Previously, you could only select the start of a scene, but now you can specify an endpoint as well. This way, you can easily create a complete clip from a memorable moment.

Sharing Via Mobile

While watching on the mobile app, a 'Clip' button appears when you want to save a scene. From now on, you decide where the clip starts and ends, making sharing and reliving moments even more precise. See here on Tudum for how it works.

The clips are automatically saved in the 'My Netflix' section, so you can view or share them at any time. The feature has become especially popular due to scenes like the dance scene from Wednesday Addams and the musical entry of the Saja Boys in KPop Demon Hunters.

Most Popular Moment On Netflix

The scene where the song Soda Pop is featured in KPop Demon Hunters is currently the most viewed moment through the Moments feature. This scene has surpassed the dance scene from Wednesday in popularity.

With the new update, fans can determine how long their favorite clips last and how they want to save them. Netflix is responding to users' needs to personalize and easily find important or standout segments. Whether you find that logical or not, it also seems possible with all content available on the streaming service.

Sky-high Expectations As This Long-awaited Series Is Renewed For A Second Season Before The First Episode Even Airs

The comedy series The Paper is set to premiere soon and already has a second season ordered, highlighting its potential.

Before the first episode of The Paper becomes available on Peacock, the streaming service has already ordered a second season. This move shows the company's strong confidence in the spin-off of The Office, which premiered this week.

The news was announced by lead actors Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore during their appearance on NBC’s Today. The early renewal is remarkable, as such decisions typically follow only after proven success. In this instance, Peacock seems to believe that a hit is highly probable, allowing the comedy series to continue through 2026.

Legacy Of The Office

The Paper is not a completely new title. The series shares the mockumentary style with The Office and is helmed by Greg Daniels, who was also responsible for the American version of the office comedy. Moreover, directors Ken Kwapis and Paul Lieberstein are returning, and Oscar Nuñez reprises his familiar role. This firmly anchors the connection to the original.

The concept revolves around a documentary crew capturing a new workplace after Dunder Mifflin: a historical newspaper in the American Midwest. There, an editor attempts to breathe new life into the newsroom, with all the chaotic and comedic consequences that ensue. According to sources, Daniels already has concrete ideas for a second season, further accelerating Peacock's decision.

Launch And Future

The first season of The Paper, consisting of ten episodes, will premiere on September 4 on Peacock. In addition to Gleeson and Impacciatore, the cast includes Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key.
