In 1984, The Film Had To Be "Pulled From Cinemas", Now The Remake Is Here!

This is a Christmas movie that you definitely wouldn’t want to watch with the whole family.

Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting have released the official trailer for Silent Night, Deadly Night, a new version of the iconic horror film. The reboot is directed by Mike P. Nelson, known for his raw and intense style.

Starring Rohan Campbell, known from Halloween Ends, alongside Ruby Modine, Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson.

A Traumatic Christmas Night

The story revolves around Billy, who as a child witnesses the horrific murder of his parents on Christmas Eve, committed by someone in a Santa suit. This traumatic event sets off a dark mission.

Years later, Billy returns every Christmas dressed as Santa, but instead of bringing gifts, he delivers bloody revenge. His actions are driven by a twisted sense of justice.

A Terrifying Question

This Christmas Eve, Billy poses one terrifying question: "Have you been naughty?" His arrival signals no celebration but a nightmare for those on his list.

The original film from 1984 caused a massive uproar at the time. Angry parents demanded that the film be pulled from theaters due to its violent Christmas theme, a controversy that elevated the film to cult status.

A Legend Reborn

With this reboot, there is an attempt to breathe new life into the legend, featuring a modern twist and visual flair that appeals to contemporary horror fans.

Silent Night, Deadly Night will be released in U.S. theaters starting December 12.

Marvel Has Gold In Its Hands, Hype Around The Fantasy Series Takes Impressive Forms Even Before It Can Be Streamed

The new Marvel series Wonder Man is generating enormous interest through original superhero stories and powerful marketing strategies.

No episode has aired yet, but interest in Wonder Man is already massive. The new Marvel series, which is set to debut on Disney+ in January 2026, is rapidly climbing the ranks of the most popular television shows on IMDb. This speaks volumes about the hunger for new superhero stories and the marketing power of the Marvel universe, which, after a period of mixed receptions, is creating a new wave of anticipation.

Wonder Man introduces actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, a former stuntman who develops superpowers through experimentation and grapples with moral and personal dilemmas under that name. The series is created by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and takes place within the same timeline as WandaVision. This suggests that Disney+ is deliberately aiming for the success of previous, more character-driven Marvel series.

Early Hype And Strategic Launch

The series is already hitting the top ten of IMDb's "Most Popular TV Shows" weeks before its premiere, which is exceptional for a title that isn't available to stream yet. The interest is fueled by leaked set photos, notable guest appearances, and the promise of a series that combines satire and superhero drama. Moreover, Marvel has not launched a new live action series since completing Ironheart, which only grows the curiosity among fans.

The production faced pressure earlier due to strikes and rewrites, but insiders now describe Wonder Man as “the most ambitious Marvel series since WandaVision.” The expectation is that the series will delve deeper into the role of fame and identity in a superhero-dominated world.

Marvel And The Audience

After a few less well-received titles, Marvel is trying to strike a balance with Wonder Man between spectacle and social relevance. If the early reactions to trailers and IMDb trends say anything, it seems the audience is eagerly looking forward to it. Whether the series will live up to those high expectations will be revealed in early 2026. One thing is clear: Wonder Man is on its way to becoming a star of the internet.

The Fantasy Series From Disney+ With 3.1 Billion Viewing Minutes Recruits Its New Greek Goddess

Season two of 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' promises to be even bigger than the debut season in 2023.

The cast of the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians will be joined in the third season by a striking new name. Actress Kate McKinnon, known for her work on Saturday Night Live and Barbie, will take on the role of the Greek goddess Aphrodite.

According to the character description, Aphrodite can alter her appearance based on the observer. In the new season, she will test whether Percy Jackson has enough respect for the power of love before offering him assistance on his quest.

'Weird Barbie'

McKinnon rose to fame during her ten-year stint on Saturday Night Live, receiving ten Emmy nominations and winning twice. She has also appeared in films such as Ghostbusters (2016), The Spy Who Dumped Me, Bombshell, and recently, as 'Weird Barbie' in Barbie (2023).

Additionally, she portrayed Carole Baskin in the Peacock series Joe vs. Carole, and will soon be seen in the science fiction film In the Blink of an Eye, directed by Andrew Stanton.

Billions Of Viewing Minutes

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the books by Rick Riordan and premiered on Disney+ in 2023. The first season is the highest viewed debut season on Disney+, surpassing major franchises like Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The eight episodes accumulated 3.07 billion viewing minutes within the first year of release.

The second season, which revolves around the book "The Sea of Monsters", will start on December 10. The third season is already in production and is based on the book "The Titan's Curse". Alongside Walker Scobell as Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, and Dior Goodjohn will also return. So, it will be a while before we see McKinnon in action as the Greek goddess.

After 6 Years Of Waiting, 'IT' Is Back On HBO Max!

The Red Band trailer for the spin-off series 'IT: Welcome to Derry' reveals the horrors of 'It' and promises to thrill fans.

A new, gritty Red Band trailer has emerged for IT: Welcome to Derry. This prequel series, set in the 1960s, delves deep into the dark history of Derry and the origins of Pennywise. The series will be available on HBO Max starting at the end of October.

The series is developed by Andy and Barbara Muschietti, known for the successful IT duology from 2017 and 2019. Andy Muschietti has directed at least the first four episodes.

The Story
In 1962, a family moves to the seemingly quiet town of Derry in Maine. They soon confront mysterious disappearances of children and unexplainable events. As the community struggles with these tragedies, some residents discover that a sinister force lurks behind it all: the clown Pennywise.

Stephen King himself has given his approval of the series, calling the first episode "terrifying" and the series "fantastic". An interesting detail is that the series not only explores the origins of Pennywise but also introduces characters from other works by Stephen King, such as a young version of Dick Hallorann from The Shining.

At the End of This Month
Bill Skarsgård returns to reprise his iconic role as Pennywise. Additionally, there are roles for Taylour Paige as Charlotte Hanlon, Jovan Adepo as Leroy Hanlon, and Chris Chalk as Dick Hallorann. The series premieres on October 27 on HBO Max.

One Of The Best Movies Of The Year Is Also A Major Flop: Losses Up To $100 Million

Although 'One Battle After Another' may win major awards, it is unlikely to recover from its financial losses as the projections show a staggering loss.

It may well be the best film of the year, but the new gem One Battle After Another by Paul Thomas Anderson is now at risk of becoming one of the largest financial disappointments of the year.

The film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has grossed about $140 million worldwide. While this is quite impressive for an R-rated film that runs almost 3 hours, unfortunately, it is not enough to cover the massive costs of making it.

Huge Expenditures

It turns out that Warner Bros. spent $130 million on production and another $70 million to promote the film. Because theaters share revenue with studios and DiCaprio receives a percentage of the gross profits, One Battle After Another wouldn't turn a profit until it crosses $300 million.

Studio insiders estimate the current loss to be around $100 million, despite a significant Oscar campaign. Although it's unfortunate to see, this is currently a problem in Hollywood where prestigious films often end up flopping these days.

Still Hope

Many viewers are simply waiting for the streaming release, as exclusive theatrical windows have been significantly shortened. Still, Warner Bros. emphasizes that 2025 remains profitable for the studio thanks to hits like The Conjuring: Last Rites and A Minecraft Movie.

Two 'Game Of Thrones' Series Planned For 2026, But The Third One Is Exciting Fans

In 2026, the Westeros universe is expanding with two new series, and a third project is already generating significant buzz among fans.

The world of Game of Thrones is set to expand significantly in 2026. While this year saw relatively little activity around the dragons of Westeros, the upcoming year promises a wealth of new material. HBO Max has confirmed two releases within George R.R. Martin's universe, while a third project, still in development, is already piquing the curiosity of millions of fans.

The summer of 2026 marks the return of House of the Dragon with its third season. This prequel, which details the fall of the Targaryens, remains one of HBO's biggest assets. Even earlier, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will premiere on January 19, a series based on Martin's anthology The Hedge Knight. The story revolves around Ser Duncan the Tall and his young squire Egg, set over seventy years after the events of House of the Dragon and a century before the wars of Game of Thrones.

Two Dragons, One Heritage

Both productions reinforce HBO's ambition to keep the Westeros universe alive. While House of the Dragon primarily explores politics and power, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms focuses on honor, friendship, and the human condition within a devastated world. The series share the same literary source, Fire & Blood, but differ greatly in tone. The combination of grand spectacle and intimate drama appears to be a successful formula for the network once again.

However, the real excitement comes from a third, not yet officially ordered series. This new prequel, written by Mattson Tomlin in close collaboration with George R.R. Martin, revolves around King Aegon Targaryen I, the first ruler of the Iron Throne. His conquest of the Seven Kingdoms forms the primal history of Westeros and promises to be the most epic tale yet.

The Future Of Westeros

Although production has not yet begun, fans are hopeful that filming will start in 2026. This would mean that, in the near future, three live-action series from the Game of Thrones universe could coexist, signaling that HBO is far from resting on its dragon-filled empire.
