Only 11 Days Until The Biggest Series On Netflix Will Enchant Everyone Again

The highly anticipated conclusion of Stranger Things is about to be released, with three episodes followed by a two-hour finale that fans have been eagerly waiting for.

In less than two weeks, the much-anticipated conclusion of a series that has forever changed Netflix will be released. Stranger Things wraps up with three final episodes, summarizing nine years of supernatural tension, nostalgia, and friendship. The end of an era is near.

The fifth and final season premiered on November 27 with four episodes. Now part 2 is approaching: on Thursday, December 26, the next three episodes of Stranger Things season 5 will be available at 2:00 AM. The very last episode follows shortly after on January 1, 2026. It will run for over two hours and serve as the definitive conclusion to the story surrounding Hawkins, Eleven, and the Upside Down.

Finale Between Christmas And New Year

Anyone who has followed the series from the beginning knows that these last episodes are more than just a finale. Netflix is rolling out a grand conclusion. In North America, the finale will even be shown in theaters, which is rarely done for a streaming series. For fans, this means a unique moment to say goodbye to characters they have followed for nearly ten years.

The main cast returns: Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour are back. Jamie Campbell Bower will reprise his role as Vecna, and Linda Hamilton makes her debut in the Stranger Things universe.

Spin-off Already In Development

Although this series is ending, the story is not over yet. The Duffer brothers are working on a spin-off set in the same universe but featuring different main characters and a new plot. This aims to further expand the world of Stranger Things without continuing the original storyline.

The 'It' Films May Be Back! But Not As Two Films

With the success of the new prequel series, a supercut suddenly seems much closer.

Right now, It: Welcome to Derry is a huge hit on streaming. The prequel series based on the It films is performing exceptionally well on global rankings.

The series is produced by Andy Muschietti, the director of It (2017) and It: Chapter Two (2019). Muschietti recently visited the fan site Reddit and answered questions about both the series and the films.

Big Dream

A fan noted that Muschietti once expressed the desire to merge the films into one cohesive whole. Regarding this, the filmmaker said:
"Yes, that is still a big dream of mine."

He explained that, "because we have been so busy with this show, we haven’t had time to execute it. I keep my fingers crossed."

Supercut

Directors often dream of merging films from the same series into one long movie. A recent example of such a supercut is Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair by Quentin Tarantino. The merging of Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 recently premiered in America, and the reception was enormously positive.
