"This Will Be Bigger And More Expensive Than Ever", Prime Video Goes All The Way For The New Season Of This Intelligent Thriller

The excitement surrounding the upcoming season of 'The Terminal List' is at an all-time high, promising thrilling adventures ahead.

The second season of The Terminal List is taking shape and, according to the creators, it's going to be bigger than ever. Although the release is still pending, writer Jack Carr and showrunner David DiGilio have announced that filming is in full swing and that this season is Prime Video's most ambitious production to date.

The official title is The Terminal List: True Believer. Lead actors Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch are returning, while Gabriel Luna has joined the cast. The creators promise that each season will surpass the previous one, incorporating lessons learned from earlier episodes.

From Revenge Thriller To International Espionage

While the first season focused on an intense psychological revenge mission within the military action genre, season 2 shifts the narrative to a global espionage adventure. The character James Reece embarks on a grand international stage, exploring new locations and storylines.

The production spans multiple continents. Scenes have been filmed in South Africa and Canada, and soon the crew will return to Africa for further shoots. According to DiGilio, it's an extraordinary journey that significantly expands the series' reach.

Prime Video Is Going All Out

With The Terminal List: True Believer, Prime Video aims to raise the bar within its action segment. The creators describe it as one of the largest productions the platform has ever undertaken. For fans, this means they can expect more locations, larger action scenes, and an expansion of the story on an international level. Additionally, you can also enjoy the prequel The Terminal List: Dark Wolf on Prime Video.

Epic Series From 2024 That Has Been Viewed 100 Million Times Returns: First Images Will Drive You Crazy

The much-loved series 'Fallout' is making a comeback with its highly anticipated second season set in New Vegas this December.

The critically acclaimed series Fallout is returning to Prime Video in December for a second season. The streaming service has also released a first poster featuring the main characters preparing for a journey to the iconic New Vegas.

The first season attracted 65 million viewers in just sixteen days and has now surpassed 100 million views. This makes Fallout one of the three most-watched series ever on Prime Video.

Familiar Faces And A New Setting

In the new season, a deeper dive into the classic game Fallout: New Vegas will be explored. The poster showcases Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul, Maximus, and the dog Dogmeat on the outskirts of a devastated Las Vegas, 15 years after the events of the namesake game.

The series, considered an official part of the Fallout canon, presents a post-apocalyptic version of New Vegas where technological remnants and moral decay collide. The iconic figure Robert House, better known as Mr. House, will also return and play a more significant role.

Mr. House

Mr. House, whose consciousness in the game is linked to a supercomputer in the Lucky 38 casino, made a brief appearance in a flashback during the first season. In the second season, his influence over New Vegas will be palpable. The cast again features Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Walton Goggins. Newcomer Macaulay Culkin joins the ensemble. Prime Video has also given a green light for a third season of Fallout.

New 'Extraction' On Netflix Without Chris Hemsworth, Featuring Big New Names

Netflix has decided to pivot from the film franchise and is focusing on an exciting new series that will expand the Extraction universe.

The two Extraction movies were massive hits for Netflix, and fans are eager for more of the intense action featuring Chris Hemsworth. There’s good and bad news, though: more Extraction is on the way, but without the Australian powerhouse.

The streaming giant is developing an Extraction series, securing Boyd Holbrook, known for Logan and the series Narcos, for a leading role.

What To Expect

Omar Sy has already signed on for the main character. The French actor previously starred in another hit Netflix series, Lupin. The Extraction series was officially announced in February and will take place in the same universe as the popular Netflix films.

The project will consist of eight episodes, but details about Holbrook's character are strictly under wraps. The focus will be on Sy's character, who is a mercenary on a dangerous mission in Libya.

Franchise

He must rescue a group of hostages, but this won't be an easy task, especially with his past problems resurfacing. The series promises to explore themes of trauma, betrayal, and moral conflict, pushing the characters to their limits.

Netflix seems eager to further develop the Extraction universe, and given the success of the films, it nearly guarantees that the series will also be a hit.

'Superman' Vs. 'Fantastic Four': The Winner Is Clear

The battle between these two superhero films has generated immense excitement and speculation among fans and critics alike.

In July, two major comic book adaptations hit theaters: Superman and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. While the films did not premiere simultaneously, there was much speculation about which title would ultimately attract the largest audience.

Superman marked the official launch of the new DC Universe and was released first, followed by First Steps, which was intended to reestablish Marvel after several commercial disappointments. Director James Gunn attempted to temper comparisons between the two films, but it is now apparent that Superman emerges as the clear box office winner.

Clear Winner

After five weeks, Superman has grossed $331.2 million in the United States, while The Fantastic Four: First Steps has reached $230.4 million after three weeks. The DC film Superman stands at $289.4 million in the US after just three weeks. The film is almost certain to end as the highest-grossing comic book adaptation of 2025.

Both titles started strong. Superman debuted with $125 million in its opening weekend, while First Steps made $117.6 million. However, while the DC film only saw a 53.2% drop in its second week, Marvel faced a significant decline of 67.1%—similar to previous disappointments like Captain America: Brave New World, which premiered earlier in 2025.

Rapid Decline

Despite the steep decline, First Steps managed to hold the top position briefly in its second weekend, but it has since fallen out of the box office top 10. New releases like Weapons provided fierce competition.

Marvel hoped that First Steps would dominate for a longer period, especially since the concept was intended as a family blockbuster. Yet, even against less massive releases, the film's momentum quickly faded.

Disappointing Year

Although First Steps has earned a respectable $400.5 million worldwide and will soon surpass Brave New World as the highest-grossing Marvel film of the year, the results feel disappointing. Even the well-received Thunderbolts has underperformed.

The next "Marvel/DC clash" is set for summer 2026 when Supergirl releases a month earlier than the major Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. At this point, it already seems like an easy win for Marvel. In 2026, Avengers: Doomsday will also be released, alongside the smaller-scale Clayface from DC.
