'Nobody 2' - Watch Or Skip? These Are The First Reviews Of The Action Flick

Bob Odenkirk returns as Hutch in 'Nobody 2', delivering a thrilling performance that many fans will enjoy. However, the sequel faces challenges with its story, drawing mixed reactions from critics.

The action hit Nobody from 2021 is often referred to as a "John Wick clone." This is not surprising since Bob Odenkirk is just as unstoppable as "Baba Yaga." For the second film, Connie Nielsen returns alongside Odenkirk. The sequel is currently in theaters, and it seems that the reception of Nobody 2 has been quite positive, so no worries.

After the events of the first film, Hutch tries to build a quieter life, but the violence haunts him once again. His past catches up to him and forces him back into action. The Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes currently stands at 78 percent.

More Gusto Than Expected

Kyle Smith of the Wall Street Journal writes that Hutch in this film leans towards superheroism, making him less engaging. "Still, this film has more energy and guts than most superhero movies."

Peter Howell of the Toronto Star finds the film entertaining, although the story remains superficial. "It's fun to watch, much like the original, but the script lacks depth."

Great Odenkirk, Weaker Story

David Fear of Rolling Stone notes that Odenkirk has now definitively found his place in the action genre. "Nobody 2 exists mainly to expand the concept. Everything else is secondary."

Amon Warmann of Empire also praises the lead actor but critiques the story. "Odenkirk remains a joy as an action hero, but the plot of this sequel disappoints."

Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian is less positive: "Bob Odenkirk’s unexpected career as an action hero continues in this predictable and forgettable sequel to the witty original."

Quentin Tarantino Finally Explains Why He Dropped 'The Movie Critic'

Quentin Tarantino seeks a bigger creative challenge for his final film project, exploring new ideas and film-making techniques.

Quentin Tarantino usually makes only one film. For a long time, it seemed that this The Movie Critic would be it, but the director decided against it. Now he explains what the reason is.

In a recent interview, Tarantino, known for gems like Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained, stated that The Movie Critic felt too much like his previous film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Less Excitement

The filmmaker said, "I noticed that I was lacking excitement, which made the previous production so thrilling. With 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,' we had to transform Los Angeles into 1969 Hollywood without CGI."

"That was a gamble and felt like an achievement. It was a massive task. However, for 'The Movie Critic,' I already knew how to age L.A. It was too similar, and I just wasn't interested."

Something Different

Despite scrapping The Movie Critic, Tarantino is certainly not unemployed. Currently, he is writing and producing The Adventures of Cliff Booth, a direct sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which is currently being directed by David Fincher. Moreover, a stage play is planned for 2026 in London, followed by his official tenth feature film.

The director is not worried about career speculations. "I hear people saying that I'm paralyzed with fear over my tenth film. That's nonsense. I just want to finish with a bang."

Sharon Stone Is Now Ashamed Of Topless Scene: "I Can't See Them"

Sharon Stone reflects on her acting experiences and the importance of respect on set. She shares her past struggles as an actress in a way that highlights significant changes in the industry.

Sharon Stone is now featured in Nobody 2. She agreed to her character due to Bob Odenkirk's respectful approach.

The 67-year-old actress values respect and has a long history of struggles on film sets. This stems from her start in the 1980s when good agreements were not in writing and intimacy coordinators were not standard practice.

No Privacy

Here at Attitude, Sharon Stone shared: "In my time, none of that existed. When I made my first film, Irreconcilable Differences, I had to do a topless scene."

She continued: "They didn't even restrict people on set. It seemed like a million of them. When I took off my bra, I heard an actor shout: Get out of my f*cking way, I can't see her t**s."

Terrible Experience

Sharon Stone concluded her story with: "And I was so scared. I could hear my heartbeat in my ears. That was all I could perceive. It was such a nightmare. And then they ask about my #metoo experiences ..." In the following YouTube video with Seth Meyer, she shared more about her new work.

Stephen King Chooses The Actor To Portray Him In Biopic

Stephen King humorously shares that while he would love to see a handsome actor portray him, he knows it won't happen, reflecting on potential candidates.

We owe many great book adaptations such as Carrie, It, and The Monkey to Stephen King. But when will the author’s own career be explored, and who would be the perfect choice to play King?

This question was recently posed to the writer via The Guardian by a fan, to which King’s first response was that he "would love to see a handsome lead actor, but I don’t think Brad Pitt would want to."

The Tall Man

He continued: "He is much better-looking than I am, and I’m a bit old now, so I would say Christopher Lloyd or, who is that man in 'Twin Peaks', the tall man in the lead role? Kyle MacLachlan."

Although there is no biopic of the author currently in the works, his stories continue to attract filmmakers and cinemagoers alike, regularly appearing on the big screen.

A Dystopian Nightmare

The latest Stephen King adaptation, the action thriller The Running Man, directed by Edgar Wright and starring Glenn Powell in the lead role who must fight against a dystopian nightmare, will be screening in cinemas next fall.

More details are gradually emerging about the highly anticipated third chapter of this thrilling series.

Netflix has more in store for fans of gripping spy stories. The acclaimed thriller series The Night Agent is gearing up for a new chapter, and fans who have been eagerly awaiting season three now have more to speculate about.

The series, based on Matthew Quirk's novel, follows FBI agent Peter Sutherland. Once, his job was no more exciting than monitoring a phone in the basement of the White House. Until that one night when the phone rang, and he became embroiled in a plot that reached into the highest political circles.

Mysterious Network

Although the creators are keeping the plot for the new season under wraps, a list of the ten episode titles has surfaced. They come in no particular order but stir the imagination: Call Waiting, Dark Matters, Lockstep Mesquite, Murky Waters, Once Upon a Time, Orion, Package Deal, Razzmatazz, The Isolation Play, and Truth Be Told.

One title stands out: Call Waiting. This episode may serve as the kickoff, winking at Peter's original role. However, this time he is not next to a phone in a basement. He is deep undercover in the mysterious Monroe's network, with only two people aware of his mission.

Bigger And More Impressive

Showrunner Shawn Ryan promises “bigger stunts, new worlds, and stories that span from Istanbul to New York, Washington DC, and Mexico City.” Filming has only just begun, but according to Ryan, the first scenes are already more spectacular than ever.

The first two seasons have already proven that The Night Agent effortlessly ranks among Netflix's biggest titles. With these new episode titles as a cryptic roadmap, the countdown to 2026 becomes even more thrilling.

Significant Setback For Prime Video's 'Tomb Raider' Series

The long-awaited live-action series of Tomb Raider faces new delays, causing concern among fans and stakeholders alike.

The long-awaited live-action series Tomb Raider from Amazon MGM Studios seems to have hit yet another delay. According to a listing in Production Weekly, filming is now pushed back to the first quarter of 2026.

Previously, it was reported that production would start in August or September 2025 in the United Kingdom. That timeline now appears to be off the table, raising new questions about the project's progress.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge At The Helm

The news about the series first broke in January 2023. It was revealed that renowned British screenwriter and Emmy winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge would be involved as the writer and executive producer.

In April of this year, rumors circulated that the project had been completely canceled. There had allegedly been two writers' rooms and tens of millions of dollars spent on development costs without any tangible results.

Rumors And Uncertainty

Those rumors were shortly debunked by the production companies behind the series. Nevertheless, doubts remain, especially due to the ongoing turnover of writers and discussions regarding the right tone of the show.

Reports about the series content have been circulating on Reddit for months. According to these sources, Lara Croft will be portrayed as an already established adventurer and archaeologist, departing from previous origin story approaches.

A Touch Of The 90s

The ambiance of the series is said to be inspired by the 90s, with a tone reminiscent of the adventurous film The Mummy from 1999. This could indicate a lighter, action-packed approach to the Tomb Raider universe.
